The Hezar mountain is the highest mountain in Kerman(4501m) where is located in south of Kerman.
This mountain after Damavan(5671m), Alam Kooh (4850m), and Sabalan (4811m) is the fourth highest mountain of Iran.
This mountain contains thousands of Herbs and that is why it is called Hezar, and in Farsi means “Thousand”.

The highest residential area in Iran is in the skirt of Hezar mountain and it is Bab Zangi Village with the high of 3300m.
When to climb
In winter because of heavy snow at the peak and heavy storms you need to climb with professional climbing equipment.
